Mini Skincare Haul and Review

Good evening my pretties!
Hope everyone is well.. I have a few skincare bits and bobs to share with you all today. I'm a sucker for buying skincare lately, I think I'm drawn to fancy packaging rather than the product itself sometimes.. But I did pick up a few items that I think you guys will really like.
So I was browsing around Boots, when I came across the Una Brennan Super Facialist range. Una Brennan is a well known celebrity facialist from Northern Ireland. She has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry and now with her very own Skincare brand, her facials can be yours too! I was super excited to try this out upon bringing it home. Did I mention how cute this packaging is?

Claiming to be an intense moisture mask suitable for those of you with sensitive skin, it contains blends of white willow extract, Vitamin E and Urea.. The mask itself has a luxurious creamy texture and not to mention the delicious smell of roses that it has.
I thoroughly cleansed my face before use, to be sure my skin was clear of excess oil or make-up. I squeezed a good sized amount of this stuff onto my clean hands and applied it evenly, to my face. I waited for about 5 minutes for the mask to set.. It does tighten on your face a little bit, but it definitely didn't give that super tight almost hardened feeling you get from some face masks. After the waiting time was over I then washed off the mask using warm water and used my towel to pat dry. Ladies, I'm not gonna lie.. My skin was so soft after using this, not to mention that the large pores I have around my nose had completely shrunk in size. I'm delighted with my new radiant skin and I now think every beauty obsessed woman should own one of these bad boys!

This is something I came across whilst browsing in Tk Maxx last weekend. If you don't already know, Tk Maxx have great bargains on beauty products and skincare(even some make-up too). This is from Nip + Fab, a company that I'm sure needs no introduction when it comes to how great their skincare is. I picked up the Nip + Fab Shine Fix mattifying gel which promises to prevent shine and target visible pores on the t-zone area.
I really like this stuff. It comes in a skinny white tube with a precision pointed applicator and does have a somewhat 'expensive' feel about it.
The smell of this product is okay.. it's not overly scented but I can get a hint of both t-tree and eucalyptus from it, so if these are ingredients you don't like the smell of then this may bother you.

The gel itself is very lightweight on the skin and has a clear consistency to it. I apply a fine line of this to my forehead, a dab on my nose and another tiny bit on my chin.. Rub it all in until it's fully absorbed and then I applied my make-up on top. I was really impressed with the finish of this stuff once my make up had been applied. My skin looked smooth and flawless and the pores around my nose were virtually gone. I can't live without this product now and use it every time I apply my make up. I really didn't believe this gel could control the shine I get on my nose but it keeps me mattifyed all day, with only one powder touch up.

Finally, the last item of skincare I picked up was this hand cream from the Brand 'Sanctuary'. I felt I needed to invest in a new hand cream as my hands have been so dry lately and your normal bog standard moisturiser just wasn't cutting it.
Containing shea butter and sweet almond oil (known for its ultra moisturising properties) this hand cream without a doubt, leaves your hands feeling so soft and nourished and not even the slightest bit dry. The only downside.. It irritates really sensitive skin and makes them a bit itchy. How do I know this? My mother wanted to try some and she has really sensitive skin.. So I guess you could say she was my guinea pig for all you sensitive skinned beauties. Apart from that fact, I probably would repurchase this hand cream again as I really liked the smell and how soft my hands were after just one use.

Have you tried any of these products? What's your verdict?
